Many universities want to see you have challenged yourself in the area of standardized tests and ask for SAT Subject Tests. You should be aware of how many tests a particular university needs and what subjects are required. For example, some colleges only require two subject tests, whereas others may require three. Depending on the major you intend to pursue, some universities encourage you to take more challenging subjects, such as Physics and Math II, while others don’t mind what you take. So it is important that you research and find out which Subject Tests you need to take before you sign-up and practice with epl specialist tutors!

Choosing Subject Tests can be difficult, but when in doubt, select the test in which you will excel. It might not be your favorite area or a subject you study in school, but if you know you will do well in this subject, then take the test.

One small tip for native Spanish speakers, though: epl does not recommend that you take the Spanish Subject Test. Many universities may disregard your results, as this does not show that you have stretched yourself, and admissions officers expect you to get a score of 800 because the test is designed for non-native Spanish students!!!
